Inspired by my trip to Havana, Cuba. She is a woman who rented us an Airbnb and I was fascinated by the mixed-race features of her face.
Her gaze reflects the history and culture of a city that is both vibrant and decaying, full of life and struggle, beauty and hardship.
This portrait is a tribute to Havana and its inhabitants.
