Intertwining forms and gestural lines capture the duality of the human condition, the tension between between our rational and animal natures – a duality that lies at the heart of our experience.
I’ve used a vibrant palette of bold, contrasting colors to create a sense of turbulence and energy within the frame.
I developed the initial sketches for this work during a trip to India, when I embarked on an expedition to encounter the majestic Bengal tigers in their natural habitat.
These wild and untamed lands served as a source of inspiration, allowing me to capture the very tension between reflection and instinct.
It is my hope that this artwork will resonate with those who seek to understand the complexities of our shared existence.
